Is There A Fourth Dimension?

From past decades scientist have been thinking about a fourth dimension. But is it real? Does it exist? What will it be? TIME? You must have seen in many movies or cartoons 'the phenomenon of time travel'..but...does that mean that the fourth dimension is time? There opens a time hole..and there you enter the fourth dimension. Just like the computers and digital gadgets were something like alien technology for the 70s and 80s people, they believed that it was impossible to do such things. Like this we are denying the existence of fourth dimension. If fourth dimension exists, then understanding time will be easier...
